Summary:
This paper evaluates the generation of inducible pluripotent stem cell lines from patients with familial Alzheimer's disease with amyloid precursor protein mutation. Differentiation over time was evaluated and neuronal fates showed spontaneous activity on microelectrode array (MEA) plates. The induced neuronal cells with the mutation showed increased Tau levels and that Aβ-specific antibodies early in culture could reduce this phenotype.
